In the ET 1200 the 4.5 cm walnut veneer tabletop stands on a stainless steel substructure. An MDF support board and a triple-layered board create a compact centre section so the unit can be extended up to a total length of 245 cm without the need of a stabilising frame. Additionally the table can be extended by up to 100 cm, using two extensions.

Extension mechanism: the extension board is folded once and stored in the drawer at the table end, when folded out it swings up to tabletop height; there are no annoying gaps when the table is not extended
